2011年以来、私たちはたくさんの報道、レポートやデータ、学術論文などを集め、セーフキャスト内部はもちろんのこと、オンライン上でもSafecast Radiation Discussion Gooogle Groupや、その他の場所などで議論を進めてきました。私たちは、そのような情報に参考情報として簡単にアクセスできたり、情報について議論されたり、意見を交わせるような場所を作ることが、多くの人にとって有益であると考えました。
Medium.comはこのレポートのために設計されており、 レポートをパート毎に分け登録してあります。エグゼクティブサマリについても同様に作成しました。

We’re pleased to announce the first release of the SAFECAST REPORT.
The report serves two functions. One, it gives an update on the SAFECAST PROJECT itself, what we’ve been up to and have accomplished, and what we expect to be doing over the course of the coming year. Second, it gives a SITUATION REPORT on conditions at Fukushima Daiichi and related issues, such as evacuees, the environment, food, and health.
Since 2011 we’ve been gathering a huge amount of news reports, data, and academic papers, which we’ve discussed among ourselves and shared online and in the Safecast Radiation Discussion Google group and elsewhere. We thought it would be useful to ourselves and others to pull a lot of it together into one place where it would be easily available as a resource, and could be be discussed and commented upon. Medium.com was designed for this, and so we split it into parts and posted it all there. We made a brief executive summary as well. We plan to make it a biannual publication, in March and September of each year, though we intend to insert updates when new info we feel is significant becomes available. A PDF of the current report will be available for download soon.
